Today I did something that I didn't think I'd actually do.
I went on a day trip with my mom. And we didn't argue. And we had a good time.
We went to Magic Wings, the butterfly conservatory in Deerfield, MA. So many butterflies in one place! Swooping and swarming around you, of all different kinds of shapes and colours and sizes! It was really cool.
As soon as I get all of the photos tweaked, I'll be posting butterfly photos here :)
I'm going to go back there, sometime soon, with my own camera - it wasn't charged, so I couln't bring it today.

When it comes to finding people photos, I TOTALLY suck.
I just spent the last hour trying to find a particular type of photo, AND I CAN'T FIND IT.
What I'm looking for is a black and white photo of a young man, wearing a studded collar, and he's partly turned away from the camera so you can see most of his back.
For example:
I just want a photo with that pose in it. I got this image from a guild mate in a game I'm in, and he doesn't have the full photo, which I kind of need because I'm obsessing over it and want to play around with it in photoshop, but the way it's cropped, I can't work with it.
Where do you all go to find photos of people??

I really should NOT be laughing, but...
OK. So, I have allergies. I sneeze a lot. It drives me nuts when I sneeze one right after the other, like achoo-achoo-achoo-achoo, 7 or 8 times in a row.
But my dad just sneezed, like, 4 times allatonce, like achoooeeeoooeeeoooeeooo. And I am fighting SO HARD not to laugh, cos it sounded funny.

What I learned today...
Today I learned how to jump start my car when the battery's dead by popping the clutch.
It works just like it does in The Karate Kid! So freakin' cool. Yay for not needing jumper cables, and for not needing to wait for a tow truck. And I was only ten minutes late for school.

DONE.
classes are DONE. As of right now, my grades show an 89.99% in Intro to Art (I wonder if he'll be nice and bump me up that 0.01% so I can get an A), an 82.5% for Digital Imaging (photography), a 91.5% in Digital Graphics (photoshop), and a 95% in Design I. Overall, I'm quite happy.
I got up uber early this morning to go take challenge exams for Word and Excell so that I don't have to take those classes next quarter. Now I'm going to download all the interesting stuff from the class websites, and then take a nap because I was up late last night.
Or maybe I'll have lunch first.

Dear Seaside Cafe peoples
I haven't died (hopefully, that's obvious). Nor have I abandoned or otherwise dropped out of the game. You see, working full time + four evening classes a week = weekend? What weekend? What do you mean, there are fun things to do? What is time?? All I have is homework!! I don't even get to sleep! I don't even remember what sleep feels like!
Er. yeah.
So...
I have 2.5 weeks left of this quarter. Next quarter, I have only 2 classes a week, and will definitely be more participatory! And I'm definitely going to make a post for this month's topic (I only skipped one).
I miss fun things.

In July I broke ildi_bp's X-Box (-12 points). In September I donated bone marrow to thetreacletart in a life-saving procedure (300 points).
